Junior Chef: What's for Dinner?
For: Children in Grades 1-4
When: Tuesdays, October 3,10,17,24, 31
Cost: $65/Session (5 classes)
The Junior Chef program returns in October for a 5-week session.
This course is all about developing kitchen skills to last a lifetime! Kids will use a variety of ingredients, kitchen tools and cooking techniques to build their kitchen confidence.
This session's theme is called What's for Dinner?:...it will focus creating a dinner to share with their families.Children will also learn about safety, how other subjects, including math and science, are a necessity in the kitchen.
Overall, children will enjoy learning new skills and interacting with fellow peers in a safe and fun environment.
We are limiting the class to 12 kids. Spots will be reserved on a "First come, first served" basis. You must register AND pay for the program to reserve a spot.
Children will be able to take the bus directly from GES to the GYC.
Our class will be based in Fellowship Hall and the kitchen of the Gilford Community Church
Kids are urged to bring a snack/drink
