BATTING CAGE RENTAL

The Gilford Youth Center is excited to announce the addition of a 70' batting cage in our gymnasium.
The batting cage will be available for both softball and baseball players and teams looking to get extra swings in the offseason.  The cage features a batting box mat, L-screen, and a pitching machine for both baseballs and softballs.

The GYC has designated availability on Sundays during the winter months.  Additional days and times may be available upon request.

Batting Cage Rates (Sundays)
Team Rental- Up to 10 Players:  $60/Hour
Individual Rental- $30/ 1/2 hour
Sunday "Drop-In" time: $20  11am-12pm  (see details below)

Sunday "Drop-In"
Each Sunday, 11-12pm, there will be "Drop-In" hitting.  Players (both baseball and softball) can come get some swings with an experienced hitting coach.  You must pre-register each week for this.  We will only accept 10 players per drop in.  Parents are not required to stay for this.

The GYC does have limited time available throughout the weekdays (primarily at night) for private rental.  If you are looking for batting cage rental during the week, please contact Scott at [email protected].  (set up fee of $20 will be applied).

Rules and Regulations

1. All Participants must sign a waiver of liability before using the GYC's batting cage.
2. For private rentals, there must be an legal adult/guardian present for any minor to use the cage.
3. The pitching machine can only be operated by a legal adult/guardian.
4. All hitters must wear helmets while in the cage.
5. Only authorized balls can be used inside the cage. (provided)
6. No cleats are allowed on the GYC floor
7. The L-screen must be used in the cage when using hard balls.
8. The GYC does not tolerate any misuse of the batting cage and their equipment.
