Get a Head Start on Your Spring Season!!!

. The Gilford Youth Center is hosting a 5-week Winter baseball clinic for infielders in grades 8-12.
The Clinic will be held on Sundays, 12-1:30, beginning February 7. The camp is offer players the opportunity
to learn and improve infielding skills and techniques.

Areas of focus will include:

Proper fielding Techniques
Ball transition
Situational fielding
Throwing Techniques
Short Hops

Most Importantly, improving infielding skills requires repetition. Players
will learn repetition drills that they will be able to do at home, that will help with technique
and hand-eye coordination.

About the Instructor
The Clinic will be run by Scott Hodsdon. Scott played and coached at Plymouth State College. He is also a former coach at Merrimack Valley High School and the Granite State Showcase League, which is for players looking to continue their baseball career in college. Scott earned 1st Team All-New England Honors as a third baseman. He also was awarded the Plymouth State's Male Athlete of the Year Award in 2002.

Time: 12-1:30

For: Players (both Males and Females) in grades 8-12 (all talent levels). Softball players are welcome to attend...However we will only be using baseballs.
