Throughout our beautiful country, countless communities have experienced renewal and rebirth through farmer’s markets. These markets provide a venue for local farmers to sell their produce and products directly to customers, the result is an important connection and relationship between the two. Typically not only farmers, but other local craftspeople and vendors sell their wares. Besides fresh produce, one can often find: handcrafted pottery and accessories, baked goods, fresh eggs, maple syrup, honey, meat and services like knife sharpening. A Farmer's Market becomes an important gathering point for the community. Especially, in the winter months when we are holed-up against the cold, we don't see our neighbors as often. The GYC provides a warm, comfortable venue to meet your neighbors, chat over coffee while enjoying delicious baked treats and shopping for the freshest produce and other useful items. Come and enjoy supporting your community.
