ONE Community  Project

The "One Community Project" (OCP) started in 2011 as local community service event for kids.  The focus of the event is to provide local children the opportunity to MAKE A DIFFERENCE in our community by helping a fellow neighbor.  Over the years, we have painted and landscaped 9 homes, worked at the town fields, town beach, the Gilford Youth Center, and Gilford Community Church.

What makes the the OCP so unique, is that it is open to ALL ages.  During the four day event, we offer opportunities for elementary-age children, Middle and High School students, college students, AND adults!!
Projects include (but not limited to):

*Painting
*Scraping
*Landscaping
*Trash Removal
*Deck repair/Replacement
*Roof repair
* Window Cleaning
* Mulching
* Porch repair/replacement

This year, we will be working at 88 Watson Road in Gilford.  It is the home of an elderly man.  The home and yard is in rough shape.  We will focus on cleaning up the yard (a lot of brush removal), mulching and planting flowers around the house, cleaning and staining his deck, painting areas of the house, and fixing his front porch and door.
