
The Gilford Youth Center is hosting a 4-week program this summer for current Gilford High School students that will offer community service projects in Lakes Region and beyond. The Summer Service Project (SSP) will introduce teens to a world of community outreach. Not only is the program designed to help those in need, but it will also help teens make meaning of their experiences, identify interests and passions, gain confidence, and grow as individuals
Enrolled teens will…..
-Have the opportunity to fulfill their required community
service hours.
- Work at several community-based organizations and agencies
(food pantries, shelters, senior home etc.)
- Work with fellow peers, build new friendships and share
unforgettable experiences.
- Work in a safe, supervised environment.
- Discuss and reflect on their experience to help understand
the importance and benefits of helping those in need.
- Make A Difference!!!!
